Seeing Snow

Today I am seeing snow off and on (at one point it was quite a blizzard) and it has left me feeling blue and a little shut in. We have had just enough nice days to make me feel like spring should be here already. I decided I would feel better if I thought of things that make me smile because the snow today certainly does not leave me smiling.

Things to make me smile today:

1)Dave will be home shortly. I love that he works hard at work and he loves to come home to us and even rescue me from time to time (like yesterday for example:).

2)These two babies at my house today. They get into everything, but are learning to play so well together and they smile most of the time they are together, which in turn, makes me smile-lots.

3) My little man calmly asleep in my arms and then transfered to his CRIB very peacefully, for his SECOND nap today. This should not be so rare, but for the last couple of weeks this is a huge VICTORY!

4)Talking on the phone to my cousin Rachael that I do not talk to often enough and hearing her excitement of her upcoming engagement.

5)The hyacinths blooming in my backyard, despite the nasty weather they endure (there is probably a lesson for me to learn from them). In the picture, William is destroying a few before they have a chance.

6)My little seedlings waiting for nice weather too. Two more cucumber plants popped up today!

7)Writing this list! I should do it everyday!

My True Color!?

Take this test!
You're brown, a credible, stable color that's reminiscent of fine wood, rich leather, and wistful melancholy. Most likely, you're a logical, practical person ruled more by your head than your heart. With your inquisitive mind and insatiable curiosity, you're probably a great problem solver. And you always gather all of the facts before coming to a timely, informed decision. Easily intrigued, you're constantly finding new ways to challenge your mind, whether it's by reading the newspaper, playing a trivia game, or composing a piece of music. Brown is an impartial, neutral color, which means you tend to see the difference between fact and opinion easily and are open to many points of view. Trustworthy and steady, you really are a brown at heart.

This is a fun little test, I hope it is true, I like what is says...what color are you?

Life’s OK: "Moonshadow" Cat Stevens

Mental Breakdown: "Forever In Blue Jeans" Neil Diamond

Driving: "Hook" Blues Traveler, or oddly enough Nirvana although I no longer listen to this while driving, with young ears in the car-it's probably for the better:)

Flashback: A song from childhood? "At the Zoo" Simon and Garfunkel

Getting Back Together: "Bless the Broken Road" rascal flats

Wedding: "Two of a Kind Working on a Full House" Garth Brooks or "Danny's Song" Kenny Loggins

Birth of Child: "All Through the Night" Peter Paul and Mary-like birth, calm and sweet

Final Battle: I'm with my friend Amy on this one "Last of the Mohicans Soundtrack"-best ever

Death Scene: Apologize-Timbaland

Funeral Song: "It Feel Like Home" How to Lose a guy soundtrack

End Credits: "When You Come Back Down" Nickel Creek

This made me think, which is scary, but it was fun.

I tag Stephanie, Carrie, and Megan-give it a try.

My Boys

I am sick of looking at pictures of my yucky purse, so my goal is to post enough pictures so that I can't see it anymore.

Here are some recent pictures of my boys. They are twinners, and they have so much fun together. When William hears the back door open he races into the kitchen and gets a big smile on his face, because he knows Dave will walk in. They are best buds-as it should be.

He loves to climb. Dave was holding him on his lap and William scrambled up onto his should all by himself...a little scary.
Here is William just waiting for the water to be hot. Bathtime is funtime for William and Dave.
Posing for the camera.
My daredevil-the higher the better.
The big smile on his face is accompanied by a squeel.
He loves his daddy!

I love my boys. They make life wonderful, and they keep me busy!
