News

Our news for the week:

  • I keep telling William it is really long drive to Utah, and he tells me, "go see 'em, go right now," to which I answer, "no, you'll go on Friday," and then he says, "I go ootah, friday?"David and William will arrive in Utah tomorrow around lunch time
  • The babies are smiling and cooing now, and a little more each day, what lucky parents we are.
  • William is really excited to go, "home," and, "see cousins, Nana, Grampa." After this he proceeds to name everyone he loves there, "Umma, Taylor, Nathan, Jophes, Caleb, Bessany, JessicaMike(this is one word in Williamese), nana, Grampa, Dodger, Uncle Clara, Uncle Trissia, Uncle Paul, Uncle Eban, Uncle Mark, Hailee(who he thinks has a scooter??!)" and he asks "where _____" about everyone and wants to know their current location and activities.
  • I have told William that he will get to go swimming-I hope this is true, because he wants to put on his swimsuit and go right now!
  • Limbs are long, and bellies large, we are officially retiring preemie clothes, Henry grew out of them a couple of weeks ago and John is just too big for them now too!
  • Henry and John were blessed on June 14th. David gave them wonderful, sweet blessings and neither of them let out peep!
  • Currently, Henry and John are asleep, they sleep every morning for several hours-they are the best babies ever. They are so mellow and sweet.
  • Mother of the year goes to me of course, for letting William be sick for almost 2 weeks before taking him to the doctor only to find out he has a raging ear infection:) He has been so congested, that when I talk to him, he usually says, "heh" because he can't hear-lovely.
  • John is up to 9lbs 13 oz and Henry is 10lbs 15oz. They are growing and changing so fast!
that is our news-pictures to follow

My David

My David is a dad, the best dad-don't even try to debate me on this...He is wonderful, my boys are so lucky to have him and me too! Here's the top five reasons why he is the best...

1. He has a wonderful testimony of family and it shows in everything he does.
2. He goes to work every day to provide for us, even though he would really rather be at home, if only he could nurse babies...
3. He gives hugs and kisses and tickles on demand!
4. He is the cookie baker, big man sized ones, today I am making them for him, but that is certainly not the norm at our house.
5. He is tons of fun, William never has more fun playing with anyone else!

I am so glad that he is the man I chose to be the father of my kids. I couldn't ask for a better husband and dad. Thanks David!

Two

William turned two (almost 2 weeks ago, I am really on the ball!). He had a fun birthday filled with cousins, cake, and toys.
Two is such a magical age-we take the good with the bad, but the good definitely outwieghs the bad. We have so much fun with our "little man." He loves his daddy more than anything, loves playing outside, swimming and running through the sprinklers, kissing his brothers, talking a mile a minute, singing songs, dancing, sucking on his or anyone else's binkie, and he loves his cousins who he asks about daily! We love having William as a part of our little family. He is such a good big brother and mostly just a great big bundle of fun!

We had to relight the candle several times before William felt brave enough-Sam got to blow out Williams candle 2 0r 3 times and Stella got a turn too.
Nana and Papa got William a scooter.
The cake, hastily put together in the few moments that I had when I was not feeding the babies.
Enjoying cake and ice cream.
William got a bunch of "Cars" hotwheels-they were a hit and still are.
Wooden train and tracks. Cars work on them too-yay!

Here are some of William's recent adventures...
Riding in Uncle Carl's boat with Sam and Stella.

Watching "kachow" with cousins.

Picnicing in the park and feeding the seagulls (even when we ask him not to)

Chasing seagulls away-this is the greatest fun for William

I am not quite sure how this chair didn't tip over! What a lucky duck!
