11 months (sniff, sniff)

Henry and John are 11 months (yesterday) I can't believe it! Where has the time gone?
(11months ago)

Now they are "big" boys. they chase after William (even torture him sometimes), play with trucks and balls, eat lots of food (John really pounds meatloaf-two hands at a time), Henry walks-and he is NOT afraid of falling, John is a dancing machine when he hears a tune that he likes, they LOVE to eat dirt (evidence below), Henry can say, "momomomom" or something like that when he is mad, John loves the rocking horse-he rocks vigorously.

Sometimes when they wake up they "talk" to eachother, they SLEEP-which is fantastic for
everyone, they think William is hilarious, they climb on things, John hates hot water in the tub, but will stay in till it is freezing, Henry is an early riser (and early to bed), Henry gives great kisses, and John is a hugger, it's almost impossible to get a picture of Henry, but John cheeses it up when he sees the camera, they can get into anything, at church they crawl under pews, make lots of noise and occasionally "sing," they share and fight over things about 50/50.

They smile when they see eachother, they love being tickled, and we love them!

Sharing the walker

Henry lounging in his highchair-this is common for him.

the big bonk on his head was self inflicted, but terrible just the same.

Cheese for the camera

John had a little stye in his eye (reminded me of Utah Nana, but I don't know what he's stressed about!)

the big bro

Finally let me take a pic.

What is it with boys and tonka trucks?

We've had dirt/sand everywhere, i mean everywhere!

Walking Henry-he looks too young to be doing it.

Stuck in an irrigation ditch, but happy about it-all the dirt you can eat! This is his impression of me making a face and saying, "yucky, no, no"

Happy little campers!

(I can't wait until we have grass in:)

Stairs

At our new house we have stairs, everyone loves the stairs. Which is funny but somewhat hazardous for the youngest two taylors.

John is so pleased with himself, he really started crawling well since we moved into the house, and just figured out how to get up the stairs a couple days ago.

Everyone on the stairs again-Dave is there for safety.

Here they are wrestling very near the top of the stairs.

Speaking of wrestling, John pinned William, I think it's payback, a long time coming:)

By the way, this little munchkin is walking, yup, I said walking. He is a 10 month old mover.

Luckily David built us a nice sturdy gate for the top of the stairs to keep us all safe (I just don't have enough arms/energy to keep them safe without it)

What fun these boys are!

Seaside

A couple weekends ago, we conducted an experiement, "is the oregon coast in the winter just as fun as it is in summer?"

Seaside, OR
Jan 23, 2010
(it's really, really cold-like always)

Cannon Beach, OR
(John holds his breath in the wind-he hardly took a breath all weekend)

(Henry and Brooke-fast friends)

(This is a happy kid)

(Nina and Grant)

Haystack Rock

(Mark must be cold, or just wanted a cuddle)

(Don't be fooled, William is NOT smiling in this picture-he is being held against his will)

Bruce's Candy Kitchen

Long Beach, WA
(along the columbia somewhere)

(Astoria Column)

(yes, we're at the top!)

(got up there in time for sunset)

(dirty bathwater)

Jan 24, 2010
(Henry's favorite part of the trip)

Ecola State Park
Jan 25, 2010

(Looks very treacherous-but it's not)

(Tillamook Rock Lighthouse)

(look at that bad beach hair!)

(this is the storm that blew in and we had to RUN!)

Our answer to this question-OF COURSE IT IS! It's about the same temp, but a little more wet, other than that, we will go anytime to the beach, William asks almost everyday, "we go to the beach again in a little minute?"
