Utah Cousins!

We had a whirlwind trip to Utah filled to the brim with fun...
...Our favorite moments from this trip...

Nina opening her mother's day present-the look on her face.
William jumping onto Uncle Paul's lap and hugging him as soon as we arrived.
Hardly seeing William at all the first day because he just ran with the kids all day.
All of the adults at Rodizio with no children and LOTS of food-Dave especially enjoys chicken hearts.
William looking really glum while blowing out his kachow candle(he was sick).
Swimming at the rec center and watching crash in the water at the end of the enormous water slide.
The babies going down the little slide at the rec center.
Doing NOTHING all day friday and finally showering and getting dressed at about 4pm-heaven!
John playing in the flower pot at the Rich's party Saturday.
The carousel at the zoo-Henry tried to get back on another animal-he just loved it.
Clara hopping on the ladybug and riding too! (I'm impressed she hopped up there pregnant)
John pushing the double stroller and then Henry jumped in to help too (we were the funniest exhibit at the zoo)
Throw up, poop, etc cleaned up all weekend!
3 Babysitters to watch the kids friday night
Robbie's homecoming talk-where we hung out in the nursery because the kids were so naughty.
William's birthday bash with maple walnut cupcakes-mmmm!
Watching all the kids hover around William while he opened presents-so fun.
Dave and Paul making waffle batter on mother's day only to find out that we were all having breakfast at Clara's house.
Pedicures and Downeast.
Boys lunch.
Stopping to have snacks 10 minutes after we arrived at the zoo.
Caleb going down the huge water slide the most out of everybody.
Bethany, Mer, Joe, and Nate doing super jumps and bum wars on the tramp for hours.
teaching Joe and Nate how to play "odds or evens" (possibly one of the most stupid things I have ever done)
Watching Brooke sew on Nate's Jr. Ranger Badge-she is good-I need lessons.
Having all the kids together all the time was the best, we can't wait for the wedding in August!

One Year Ago Today...

We were getting ready to meet the two little men we had been waiting for...

we had no idea how these little guys would change everything for the better!
On our way to the hospital-I could barely breathe at this point

laboring-sitting on the ball-I think this was about 1 1/2 before delivery

finally-I got to hold my John (he was baby B, but I held him first)

and Henry (I didn't see his eyes again for several days after this-he was so sleepy)

Dad and his little boys (John, Henry)

William taking a peek (Henry, John)

Henry...

is funny and
serious all at the same time
always has bruises on his forehead
a walker (since 10 mos)
has one tooth on the upper right
a short napper
is early to bed and early to rise
is brave
is a kisser
looks like Uncle Mike
has fluffy hair
has dark skin
likes scrambled eggs
loves to rip wrapping paper
only likes to read touch and feel books
likes to carry around dirty clothes
is the reason we shut all bathroom doors
says momomom and jabbers constantly to himself
eats dirt-lots of it (and occasionally concrete)
is such a sweetheart and a joy!

John...
is a dancer-he boogies to any music he hears
a self entertainer
tries to figure out how things work
likes to push cars and crawl beside them
is a loud crawler-thump, thump, thump
a snuggler
a smiley little guy
looks like his mama (and uncle Nick)
has a curl over one ear
is a big eater, he loves food
a wrestler
loves making noise
can go downstairs on his tummy-a blessing for his forehead!
has eyes the same color as William's
is super ticklish
loves the swing at the park
loves to push/walk along anything with wheels
has no teeth!
has a mole between two of his toes
is so happy and pleasant a true gem!

Happy Birthday to my baby boys!

Easter Fun

Here are a few photos of our never-ending Easter (we celebrated many times)

Nana's house

Enjoying their peeps

Ready for the big hunt

My sweet almost one-year-olds
Grandma's house

They got shades in their baskets

William got cars underpants in his basket-can't you tell he is really happy about that?

It was a great weekend of fun and we loved conference too-what a great combo!

11 months (sniff, sniff)

Henry and John are 11 months (yesterday) I can't believe it! Where has the time gone?
(11months ago)

Now they are "big" boys. they chase after William (even torture him sometimes), play with trucks and balls, eat lots of food (John really pounds meatloaf-two hands at a time), Henry walks-and he is NOT afraid of falling, John is a dancing machine when he hears a tune that he likes, they LOVE to eat dirt (evidence below), Henry can say, "momomomom" or something like that when he is mad, John loves the rocking horse-he rocks vigorously.

Sometimes when they wake up they "talk" to eachother, they SLEEP-which is fantastic for
everyone, they think William is hilarious, they climb on things, John hates hot water in the tub, but will stay in till it is freezing, Henry is an early riser (and early to bed), Henry gives great kisses, and John is a hugger, it's almost impossible to get a picture of Henry, but John cheeses it up when he sees the camera, they can get into anything, at church they crawl under pews, make lots of noise and occasionally "sing," they share and fight over things about 50/50.

They smile when they see eachother, they love being tickled, and we love them!

John and Dad working on the baby gate

the beloved rocking horse

Henry working with Dad

Sharing the walker

Henry lounging in his highchair-this is common for him.

the big bonk on his head was self inflicted, but terrible just the same.

Cheese for the camera

John had a little stye in his eye (reminded me of Utah Nana, but I don't know what he's stressed about!)

the big bro

Finally let me take a pic.

What is it with boys and tonka trucks?

We've had dirt/sand everywhere, i mean everywhere!

Walking Henry-he looks too young to be doing it.

Stuck in an irrigation ditch, but happy about it-all the dirt you can eat! This is his impression of me making a face and saying, "yucky, no, no"

Happy little campers!

(I can't wait until we have grass in:)
