There is something about this time of year!

This time of year is notoriously busy for us.

In 2004, this time of year, May 2nd to be exact, I met a tall, dark, handsome guy. I wish I could say that sparks flew, and they may have from me, but Dave found out how old I was and backed away-quickly. Good thing he got over the age issue because no matter how old I get, he's still 7 years older!

In 2005, we were just a month away from our wedding. It was very busy. I was in WA , where we did Marcus' Eagle project, redid my parents' deck and did wedding stuff too, I also received my endowments at this time.

2 years ago, Dave and I moved to Las Vegas, NV. On this exact day, I was furiously cleaning the apartment we moved into (a neglected basement) and trying to unpack, and it was already 110 degrees!


Last year, the busiest of all, we bought our house, painted about half of the inside, cleaned all of the walls (they were nasty), moved in, and waited for a baby to come, and then he did! and that is what made it the busiest of all!

This year, not to be outdone:

Nana and Papa and Uncle Marcus came to our house for a week and Aunt Bethy stayed too! William thought that having visitors was great and lots of fun.




Then we cut down a huge tree, our neighbor came over and it was down in a couple of hours, but then we have clean up duty:)
Then cousins came to play with William. Megan, KC, Stella, and Sam came. William was so happy to have little ones to play with. He wanted to do everything they did. We went to the zoo, played at the park and in general, exhausted ourselves, but it was fun!
We then, had Dave's parents and Bethany for an early mini birthday for William, Grant will miss his real birthday. He is absolutely destroying his piece of cake and loving it.
This is what William did after all this fun, he conked, luckily on our way to Arizona.

William thought that the round up was great. Riding around in the truck and playing with some Rich cousins. By the end of the day at the day at the ranch, he was as dirty as the best of 'em. Unfortunately (or fortunately) the black boogers are not visible in this picture, but the pacifier ring of dirt is.

Next day, a couple of cows got loose. Dave, William, and cousin Sione went and found them.And, William got his first ride on a horse, which he thought was fine, as long as the horse didn't move:)


We are tired from a month of fun, but I can't think of anything else I would rather do, than visit with family and be busy.
