What We Do In The Summertime...

We eat corn on the cob...

and get so tired that a soft corner of a blanket looks like a wonderful place to crash.

"William, what does a lizard say?"
(He has been able to do this for a few months, but when he learned to walk he gave up all of his old tricks, including the lizard, and all the words he knew. He just got them back, and has recently mastered, "no," "dada," "na na (Knock, knock)," and "piboo(peekaboo)"

We swim at Grandpa's pool. Williams domain is the top step, where he dips himself, blows bubbles, and splashes.

We eat popsicles, they are cool and they feel good on swollen gums:)

We are never getting him another toy...he has a big box!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE lilies. They are my FAVORITE flower.
Orange lilies have always been my favorite flower.

But this year, these red ones are giving them a run for it.

My yellow lilies are huge, at least the size of Dave's hand.
They are very impressive.

And new versions are also quite nice too. I haven't ever seen day lilies like the above or below, but I sure am enjoying them!

Summer is great fun, we are enjoying every minute!!!

Summer is great! Only a week and a half to the beach! We can't wait. Your flowers are pretty. We are pretty much in that stretch here where it has been too hot for flowers. Is William feeling better? He looks cute as a bug.
