My Little Sweetheart

William does the funniest things and he is really pulling some funny expressions. Just today he had just woken up and I was holding him. I was munching on wheat thins. He saw me about to put it in my mouth and quick as lighting snatched it from me and started sucking on it. I thought that had pleased him, so I grabbed another, but he snatched it with his other hand. He needed a pair. Thinking that would keep him busy, I grabbed another wheat thin and guess who wanted that one too. William leaned forward and took that one with his mouth! He sat there sucking on the cracker and holding his other two and he though he was pretty special he even clapped his two crackers together to show how pleased he was!

Since our blog is really just our life through pictures, I have a bunch from the last two weeks.

This one is for Dad. William loves to brush his teeth and suck on his toothbrush for as long as I will let him.

William's hair is getting long, therefore, he has some AMAZING bedhead. Top that with rosy cheeks that he gets while tired or sleeping and his silly grin-he is adorable.

This is earlier the same day. Dave gave him an oreo and of course he loved it. It made a huge mess down Dave's pant leg and the carpet and the couch and his clothes. I need to get my steamer out and clean up the couch and carpet. Besides all that, it turned his pooh black for more days than it seems like it should have:)

Here is our monkey. He hung upside down like this for a long, long time, very intent on getting his hands on an edition of the Ensign.

After we finished our kitchen cabinet, I put contact paper down. This was especially tricky because William pulled himself up on the side of the drawer and pulled it up faster than I could put it down! Here he is played with the paper from the back of the contact paper. Later on, I found a wad of it in his mouth-apparently it was quite tasty.

William's new accomplishment (Dave has been working on this for a couple months) is laying down in the tub and relaxing. Since we can't seem to get him to sit on his bum in the tub, we decided the safest thing to do was teach him not to freak out when he slid and landed on his back and now he really likes it. He'll be ready for swim lessons soon!

This is my long awaited new kitchen cabinet and our new hardware. Now we need to reroute the heating vent, cut out the baseboard, mount it to the wall, put in two more outlets, sand our countertops, put the countertops in, mount our new sick and faucet, tile our backsplash, finish that with some moulding and then, whew, we're done!

Here is our first new outlet. Previous to this addition, my kitchen had a total of three outlets, one of which is in my nook and not very handy. This outlet got my microwave off of my table and onto the counter where it belongs! I can't wait for two more. Who knew I could get so excited about electrical outlets?
I tend to have these really long blogs. I think it is because, I can't choose which pictures of William to post, and I am so inconsistent, Sorry!

I love the pictures of William. His little head floating in the bubbles is precious. Also, the kitchen drawers look great. Don't you love the projects? William is old enough to help now so that is even more fun!

That fancy finish is my (Meredith's) blood sweat and tears. It is our cabinet paint, the high gloss stuff, about three coats. Dave did spray the primer though which was a big job, and very nice and smooth.
