I have felt so sad to give up summer, it was so fun and we did new things, saw new places, and enjoyed the sun-alot. I have been sad to see it go...
...then Saturday it was chilly, and we had rain and thunderstorms all afternoon-and there was a little boy who LOVED it. He splashed in puddles, along with Bethany, Dave, and Me, and ran around in the rain, and even walked around our whole block, happy as can be.
He was absolutely soaked after an hour or so, and his rain boots were filled too. After we brought him in and stripped him down, all he wanted to do, was go back out!
This is the first time that we have ever put away clothes that fit just because it is too cold to wear them-it's hard to do, but William does look awfully cute in this sweater I've been waiting all summer for him to fit. It makes saying goodbye to summer a little easier to see such a cute boy!

It's cooler here, too, but not cool enough to wear a sweater. Maybe you will get a little bit of Indian summer. William is cute in his boots!
i am feeling kind of glad for the 70 degree weather here. it sure does feel better on my feet! nice enough to play outside but cool enough to not be sweaty all day.
I love the dino sweater - its got to be my new fav. Other than the nakey & rain boots!
