Yellowstone

We (David, Me, Bethany, and William) met my parents and Marcus at West Yellowstone for the long weekend.
We saw bears (in a zoo), but they were really active, which was fun to watch.

William used his monkey skills to climb on the binoculars.

It's a good thing there is a moat around the bears, otherwise I never would have let Dave hold William over the fence.

As soon as William saw Poppy eating grapes, he sat down and started shoving them in with both fists-he really is Poppy's boy. When he got full, he started shoving them in Poppy's mouth!

After we had been at the bear exhibit awhile, William went into the middle of the pavement and
sat down to eat his cracker or cacker as he calls it. At one point he even laid his head down.

Meredith, Marcus, Bethany, Dad, Mom at the firehole river.

Marcus said he need more pictures of himself. This would be a really good illusion that he is up high, if you couldn't see Bethany's hands in the picture (she is standing). Good try Marcus!

Mom and Dad overlooking the firehole falls. Aren't they a cute couple?

The cool thing about this bison, is that Dave is taking the picture from the driver's side of the car and not zooming at all. It came out of the trees, onto the road, we almost hit it, then it walked straight at us down our lane. It was kind enough to walk around the car, which is when Dave snapped the picture.

Yellowstone lower falls. It was raining and about 50 degrees-need I say more?
William had so much fun with everyone. Hanging out with Papa, riding in the car eating gummibears with Nana, laughing at Marcus leaping up the hotel stairs, and the ride with Aunt Bethany. He also loved swimming with everyone-he is quite a fish!-video will follow soon-I hope.
It was a fun trip, and I have the smashed pennies to show it (they are my favorite way to commemorate a trip!)

It was fun to have you all here. We spent today back in the Park. We did the upper loop and went out the Lamar River Valley. We saw hundreds of Bison(mostly far away, but some up close and personal),27 elk,2 osprey,1 black bear,6 deer,7 pronghorn, and a whole bunch of chipmunks. Thanks for putting the pictures on. Good memories!

I didn't know thats where you guys went. We almost went to Yellowstone too-Heath's parents went, but they were staying in hotels, and we decided against it for a few reasons-it looks like fun though. I still want to go sometime.
