Dadd-o and Poppy

Dadd-o and Poppy are just two of my dad's names currently. To me the picture above says everything about my dad. The thing is, moments like these in the picture are not and were not rare occurrences for my brothers and sisters and me or for William and his cousins. My dad expresses his love often and sincerely. It is the best thing about him. He also taught us that family comes first. He showed this to us by his actions and his words. Dad took us on bike rides, let us help him on house or car projects(even when it may have been faster to do it himself), took us camping, took us everywhere he went, played with our (the girls) hair (he even does french braids), takes us on walks, trips to costco, gave us half moons, gave us father's blessings, and the list goes on and on. He gives us all his most valuable asset-his time. He shows us that family truly is the most important thing.
