This is what we've been up on these hot summer days!
We have eaten loads and loads of watermelon, William loves it!

We don't have automatic sprinklers-yet, so everyother day, we have to keep our eyes on the time and switch circuits. We have also been replacing sprinklers and adjusting them. William watched David adjust the sprinklers in our sidewalk strip, and then he grabbed the screwdriver and did it too. He is so clever sometimes, it's scary.
Puddles are hours of entertainment at our house.
We play so hard, that William just can't keep his eyes open. 6pm was just too much for him

This is what William wears to bed, he hates to be hot. He is so funny in those little boxers! He also finds books, and brings them to us to read, and then when one of us finishes reading it, he takes it to the other, so cute. Our summer has also been filled with trips, swimming, walks (eveyday), dinner group (HOORAY), and projects. I have a feeling our summer will get even busier, Dave was just called to be the Young Men's President in our ward.

we have had lots of naps in the high chair lately too! the summer sun just wears us out.

The summer heat has stopped me in my tracks, today. Even thought the house is cool, I can "feel" that it is too hot to breathe outdoors. The pictures of William are precious. I, too, love watermelon and naps. See you soon. Good luck to Dave. He and Ben can compare notes.
hey! so i must say that I'm jealous that william gets to play in the sprinklers. I think i may be too old...
anywho, I liked austenland. It took a while to get into, but after i finished it i decided that it was really clever. It made me want to read Pride and Prejudice again. The only other Shannon Hale that I've read is Princess Academy and I loved it. I think it is her most popular book. Next I'm planning on reading The Goose Girl so if you get time, you should read it so we can discuss.
